FESPA Kicks Off 2005 Sales Campaign, for FESPA 2005 international trade fair, in Munich 31 May thru 4 June, 2003.
FESPA is kicking off its sales campaign for FESPA 2005 (31 May 2005 – 4 June 2005) with the appointment of an International Sales Manager and the introduction of a brand new exhibitor brochure.
The newly-created sales position at FESPA will be filled by Michael Ryan, reporting directly to Exhibitions Director Frazer Chesterman. Michael will manage the sales of the 2005 event, and will also fulfil a commercial role on the FESPA magazine.
He calls on five years experience in the exhibition sector, gained with Overseas Trade Show Agencies Ltd in London, a specialist sales and marketing organisation that serves as the official UK, Ireland and European representative for leading international exhibition, event and congress organisers.
In his project management role for the company, he was responsible for the promotion of a portfolio of worldwide exhibitions embracing eight diverse industries, amounting to some 14 exhibitions each year. Michael has promoted trade exhibitions to multiple audiences in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and was part of the UK/Ireland sales team for GEC, the bi-annual Italian graphic arts event.
A graduate in Languages for Business, Michael’s fluency in German adds to the multi-lingual capability of the FESPA team and will be invaluable in the promotion of the Munich-based FESPA 2005 event, which is expected to attract a substantial number of exhibitors and visitors from German-speaking markets.

Building on the tremendous success of the last FESPA event in Madrid, I’m looking forward to contributing to the continued growth of the FESPA brand, and making FESPA 2005 the best event yet for the screen, digital, and industrial printing industries.”
Frazer and Michael will embark on the sales campaign for FESPA 2005 from September onwards, with a direct presence at various national events serving FESPA’s target markets, including Viscom Germany, Viscom Italy and SGIA.
New exhibitor brochure
Their efforts will be supported by a new full-colour exhibitor sales brochure, featuring key facts and figures about exhibitor and visitor attendance at FESPA 2002 in Madrid. The publication highlights the business diversity and international spread of the visitor base, and identifies the unstoppable trend towards digital output technologies as one of the key interests of visitors to the show.
The brochure outlines the state-of-the-art exhibitor facilities offered by the new Messe Munich, which is the venue for FESPA 2005. It also spells out the advantages of the German location in attracting exhibitors and visitors from across Europe, particularly the emerging markets of Central and Eastern Europe. The cost of exhibition space at FESPA 2005 has been set at Euros 248/m2.
