Other printers on display at VUTEk®-s booth include the new UltraVu® II 3360 EC, featuring greater productivity and double-sided printing, and the highly productive, eight-color PressVu® UV 180/600. VUTEk® will also launch its new Print Job Estimator software, developed so businesses can better manage their operations and reach their profit potential.
The superb performance of VUTEk®-s newest UV-curing flatbed printer is exceeding customer expectations. Starting at only $199,000, the PressVu® UV 200/600 is designed specifically for printers looking to achieve greater productivity at an affordable cost while maintaining superior image quality. The PressVu® UV 200/600 two-meter digital inkjet printer, delivers stunning four- and six-color, 600 dpi, photographic color reproduction and crisp text reproduction on almost any material. VUTEk® is now fully shipping the PressVu® UV 200/600 commercially.
VUTEk® will also display its all-new UltraVu® II 3360 three-meter printer, engineered for greater productivity and increased functionality. In addition to delivering throughput improvements of 10% to 50% in some print modes, the UltraVu® II 3360 comes standard with many new features such as a ColorBurst Software RIP and VUTEk®-s new automated two-sided printing system for producing consistent, distortion-free double-sided graphics for banners and backlit displays.
Engineered for both high-speed and high-quality printing, the UltraVu® II 3360, starting at $199,000, achieves print speeds up to 2,113 square feet (196 square meters) with the new Rapid Return feature, included in VUTEk®-s latest software version. The Rapid Return feature allows the printer carriage to increase its acceleration and deceleration speeds, so there is no longer a significant pause between sweeps. Available in four-, six- and eight-color models, the UltraVu® II 3360 prints at 720 dpi resolution (360 dpi addressable) for sharp, crisp and consistent output. The UltraVu® II 3360 replaces the previous UltraVu® 3360 EC printer.
Those looking for the highest productivity and print quality in a digital UV-curing flatbed printer, can visit the VUTEk® booth to view the PressVu® UV 180/600 EC. This printer is a rugged and reliable eight-color system that prints on both rigid and flexible substrates up to 1.8 meters wide, and is offered with an available automatic sheet feeder. Changeover between rigid and flexible can be done in just minutes. UV-curable inks allow for a wider range of substrate selection with less variation in output appearance. The PressVu® UV 180/600 EC delivers stunning photo print quality, fine line and text detail. It transforms short-run jobs from time-consuming, costly propositions into viable, efficient and lucrative business opportunities.
VUTEk® will also launch a new workflow solution. VUTEk® -s Print Job Estimator software allows users to calculate in advance a print job-s cost and print time to accurately plan and price print jobs. By using the print file and entering in costs for ink, substrates, overhead and labor, VUTEk®-s new Print Job Estimator software will generate a cost estimate for the print job, a quote for the customer and a job ticket. This new software package will be included with all VUTEk® printers starting December 1. VUTEk® customers can purchase additional copies of the software for a nominal fee.
