THE CURTAIN GOES UP ON FESPA 2005.

The biggest and best FESPA has begun in style, with an official opening ceremony hosted by current FESPA President Ricardo Rodriguez Delgado and FESPA President Elect Hellmuth Frey. The ribbon has now been cut and visitors have experienced the excitement of all four halls, all at full capacity with industry leading exhibitors.

“FESPA 2005 has a groundbreaking 523 exhibitors covering 27,500 square metres of stand space,” says exhibitions director Frazer Chesterman. “We hope to see a staggering 30,000 visitors from across the globe at the show, and based upon the huge number of online registrations, we are confident that the halls will be buzzing for the duration of the exhibition.”

Once again several major exhibitors will be using FESPA as the launch platform to introduce cutting edge new products into the market place. However, visitors will not only get the chance to see the latest in technology, but they can also expect a packed programme of new initiatives designed to enhance their experience at the show.

Adds Chesterman, “Our team here at FESPA has made it a key objective over the past two years to turn FESPA 2005 from a stand alone exhibition to an interactive event. With an extensive line-up of free educational seminars, debates and workshops conducted by industry experts, FESPA will offer visitors the opportunity to learn about the latest industry developments and issues on a wide selection of topics. There will be a VIP programme, Premier Awards event and affiliated youth competition and visitors will be able to obtain a free copy of our show daily magazine, which will be produced and distributed on the show floor. This will be an invaluable tool to keep visitors abreast of the major product launches planned as well as other announcements that break during the show.”

FESPA is internationally recognised as the number one show for the screen and large format digital printing marketplace. The exhibition offers the perfect opportunity to see the very latest technologies and services available in this fast changing arena.
