Thieme with Double Appearance at the FESPA Thieme informs about its product line in screen and digital printing.
Teningen, May 2010 – At the international printing trade fair FESPA 2010, which will take place in Munich from June 22 to 26, THIEME GmbH & Co. KG with headquarters in Teningen is again set up at its best - this time even double: Thieme is represented with an information booth for each of the sectors screen printing and digital printing.
In screen printing the Thieme product line extends from semi-automatic systems to the fully automatic multi-colour line for graphic applications through to application-specific systems for the industry; in the digital printing Thieme will inform about the high-speed printing system “:M-Press Tiger” in its newest version, which was developed jointly with Agfa.
Screen print graphic: Diversity of colours and materials
In the classical screen printing, Thieme informs about its complete machine line including drying technology and peripheries. For example about the “Nonplusultra” in graphics, the large-format multi-colour lines of the THIEME 5000 XL series for arc shapes up to 2000 mm x 3300 mm. The multifaceted machine concept does not only enable extraordinary production performance with minimum use of personnel, but rather makes optimum use of the great diversity of the graphical screen printing ¬ both in regard to colour qualities and the spectrum of printable materials as well as the usable material strengths.
Screen printing industry: Optimal coating solutions
If the diversity of colouring is in the foreground of graphical screen printing, then in industrial screen printing the focus is on the coating with ceramic and functional pastes such as silicone, adhesives, silver conductive and carbon paste. Typical areas of application include crystalline and thin coat solar cells, printed sensor systems and foil keyboards as well as the printing of flat glass. Thieme offers a comprehensive product program for the industrial sector for both optical and functional prints as well as the customized development of high precision machine systems.
Digital printing: Maximum options, minimal costs
Together with Agfa Gevaert, Mortsel (Belgium), Thieme has developed the high-speed flat bed inkjet print system M-Press Tiger, which is being met with great interest in the professional world as well as among users. This innovative system, the expertise of Agfa in the imaging and InkJet technology combined with the proven screen printing machine concept of Thieme is not only the fastest digital printing system in its class but rather offers the lowest printing costs by far of all inkjet systems on the market - and this with excellent printing quality. Moreover the system can be expanded with a screen printing unit to a globally unique hybrid printing system, with which special colours such as gold, silver, scented inks, lacquers or opaque white can be printed. Application areas of the M-Press Tiger are found above all in the inner and outer poster advertising, and this both for fixed as well as flexible materials, such as for self-adhesive vinyl, corrugated cardboard, metal plates or structured displays.
The FESPA 2010 will be staged from June 22 to 26, 2010 at the Munich exhibition grounds. Thieme exhibits:
* Screen-Printing Systems: Hall A1 booth 380
* Digital printing systems: Hall B2 booth 240.
